Adornment Fine Jewelry, a South Kingstown jeweler and jewelry store, announced the launch of their second location in Newport’s Brick Market Place, set to open May 7th.
“We felt there was a niche for our particular style of jewelry in Newport,” said Adornment’s CEO Shawn Thornton in a statement. “Our
jewelry designs, both new and antique, will be a nice compliment to the shopping experience,” agreed Calvin Campany, the company’s COO. “There is so much beauty in Newport; we want to be part of that with our jewelry.”
I’ve featured pieces from Campany & Thornton in South County Commons for stories, styling and spreads in SO Rhode Island and Providence Monthly magazines, and if their flagship is any indication, Newport is in for a great retail addition.
Adornment will carry designs crafted with diamonds, sapphires, and South Sea pearls, plus yellow diamond jewelry by designer and master diamond cutter Martin Kirschenbaum (yellow diamond drop earrings at left). Also in the mix will be inventive new watch designs, Chamilia Beads (bracelet above and at right) and estate pieces by New Orleans-based Wellington & Co.
The new location’s address is 213 Goddard Row in the Brick Market Place.
