“Adoring” New and Old at Adornment

Before Adornment made it’s home in Newport’s Brick Market Place, it had a loyal customer base at its flagship shop in Wakefield. Following their successful 5th Annual Antique and Estate Jewelry 
Show in South County last week, the show moves to Newport, opening tomorrow with a selection of covetable bling from the Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco and Art Nouveau periods. The show is open July 20th-23rd 10am~6pm, and 12pm-4pm on Sunday July 24. Adornment is located at 213 Goddard Row in Newport, 401-619-3301.
`The show is the perfect excuse to check out vintage pieces while perusing
beautiful modern ones including Thistle & Bee sterling silver “Bamboo” rings featuring varying stones like smoky quartz (3.5 cts.), amethyst (3.5 cts), citrine (3.5 cts.), prasiolite (3.5 cts.), and my favorite, blue topaz (4.5 cts., pictured at right). There 
are also bracelets, necklaces and earrings in the Thistle & Bee “Bamboo” collection at Adornment (prices depend on stone…most range $350-$450). Click here to check it out.
