The steady breezes throughout Newport over Labor Day weekend were a welcome weather front for organizers of the 32nd annual Museum of Yachting Classic Yacht Regatta, the finale of the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge North American Circuit. Along with the race for the cup, the vintage and classic yacht parade and events including “Cappuccino with the Captains” (a casual meet and greet between local sailing devotees and the captains and crews of the competing crafts), title sponsor Panerai has released a commemorative luxury timepiece.
This year’s Panerai PAM 371 Luminor Submersible Regatta limited edition
timepiece features titanium case material, sapphire glass and will set you back a cool $12,500. The closes retailer is Tourneau in Boston’s Copley Place (100 Huntington Avenue, Space D13, Boston, 617-267-8463). While you’re saving those pennies you can check it out in more detail, and other 2011 Panerai models, by clicking here.
