The Groovy Gator celebrates Black Friday with 20% to 50% off boys and girls clothing (newborn to size 16), including Blabla, Maggie in the Middle, Coco Bonbons, Melissa and Doug and more. Tons of toys, accessories and more all part of the sale lasting Friday through Sunday.

Just a few storefronts down, Deborah Winthrop Fine Lingerie kicks off a 2-Day Sale starting Friday (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) with 20% off all sleepwear and 15% off all bras and panties (and yes, that includes the coveted collection of  Hanky Panky’s). Saturday, Nov. 28 (10 a.m. to 5  p.m.) offers 15% off all sleepwear and 10% off all bras and panties.

In Newport, Tropical Gangsters kicks of their 30 For 30 sale on Friday commemorating 30 years in business with 30% off store-wide. Trendy dresses, tops, jeans, accessories and shoes can be found at this Thames Street boutique.

Did you hear the Gossip? Just a few shops down from Tropical Gangsters, Gossip is offering a FREE $118 sweater with any purchase of $200 or more, a free gift with any purchase, and 50% off daily specials. The deal was a hit at Gossip’s “flagship” shop in wonderful Wickford Village last year, and Janelle has  extended the offer to the Thames Street shop too. Gossip carries designer duds from Free People, Citizens of Humanity, Hudson and Red Engine in addition to fabulous dresses and accessories.

Wish consignment boutique on Lower Thames is celebrating Black Friday with 10% off all purchases, and for every $50 spent, shoppers are entered into a raffle to win a gift basket including a Wish gift certificate- also, extended hours on Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Narragansett on Bowen’s Wharf, purveyor of fine lines including Paul & Shark, Polo Ralph Lauren, Max Mara, Gant and Geiger, is offering a Buy One, Get the Second Half Off deal (second item must be of equal or lower

value).

Banana Republic at the corner of Washington Square and Thames Street is opening at their normal time (10 a.m.) but offering buy one, get one free cashmere sweaters for men and women in addition to in-store promotions. They’re staying open an extra hour, ’til 7 p.m., as well.

Also on Bowen’s Wharf, handmade glass bowls, vases, dishes, ornaments, sculpture, jewelry and more by recognized American and international artists are marked 30% off at Marie-Luise, one of Newport’s shops that proves good things come in small packages.

Up on Bellevue Avenue, The Linen Shop, offering everything from bedding to tabletop accessories to better bath goods (like luxe soaps and candles),  is 20% to 50% off store-wide now through Christmas Eve. Get there sooner rather than later for the best deals.

On nearby William Street, ultra-chic Rib & Rhein is offering 10% off all boutique purchases and 20% off all men’s outerwear jackets and blazers on Black Friday.
