Why: Working for one of the biggest pet food distributors in New England for four years, Susan Forfa gained the know-how of the best pet 
products working with more than 500 independent pet retail business owners. Inspired to have a shop of her own, Susan opened On The Dog Walk just a couple of months ago. The precious pet boutique carries holistic food, treats, quality toys, clothes and collars (including customized Newport collars and clothing) and leashes for cats and dogs. Helping Susan run the show is her pooch Duncan, a lhasalier; and Kitty, a calico cat. The trio hosts Yappy Hour every Sunday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. (though it really lasts all day). The shop is celebrating their grand opening with a 15% discount store-wide throughout the month of January.
