As some might say, it’s been wicked hot here of late, and keeping cool which keeping up your fitness routine can be even more daunting.

I couldn’t help but notice the soft and chic style of workout wear at the Health and Wellness Center at the Newport Athletic Club of late. Cotton shorts, pants, tanks and tops by binka, emblazoned with cute hearts or peace symbols and cut to a flattering bias, are ideal to take from the gym to après workout errand. Oh, and if you’re an animal lover like me, you’ll be tickled to learn a
portion of binka’s proceeds are donated to various shelters and rescue groups, providing bedding and care for animals that don’t have a place to call home. Even better, designer and South Florida native, Jessica Tomc O’Doski, is just about to release binka’s newest collection.
The Wellness Center also carries comfy all-natural organic yoga clothing by Hyde, plus tops, bottoms and headbands by prAna with cutting edge patterns and designs. You’ll also find yoga mats and nutritional supplements there as well. Fashionable and functional workout wear? Done and done.
