Today’s Hometown Holidays features a fabulous local gift for a hostess and would also make a great teacher gift: a homemade pie from Cory’s Kitchen at Sweet Berry Farm in Middletown. Regulars know that there’s one big problem with Steve Cory’s creations: you never know which one to get, because they all are so tantalizing! This holiday season, Cory’s Kitchen is baking the following flavors:
Pumpkin**, Pumpkin Pecan**, Chocolate Pecan, Pecan**, Apple, Apple Cranberry, Cherry, Mincemeat, Peach, Peach Praline, Strawberry Rhubarb, Key Lime, Blueberry, Mixed Berry, Raspberry
**see link below for a recipe!
All of Cory’s Kitchen pies are under $20 and you just need to give the bakers over there a few days notice, or pop on in the charming market at Sweet Berry Farm and place your order (open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Hostesses will be sure to invite you back soon, and teachers, well, that A+ may just be in your kid’s future!
