Tomorrow morning we’ll be posting Deals & Steals bright and early, but today we’re observing Bloggers Day of Silence to benefit ShelterBox USA, which provides emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies for families around the world who are affected by disasters at the time when they need it the most. I’d also like to sing the praises of Newport-based graphic designer Bob Troutman, who created this touching poster being featured by GlobalGiving.org for Japan relief.
Please don’t forget the animals that are suffering, abandoned and injured in Japan. The government will not let people take their animal companions with them when they leave. Please write to Hilary Clinton and ask for her help with the animal situation.
You couldn’t be more right, Shana. From what I hear, there are a number of animal rescue groups there or headed there to aid animals. Let’s pray they get the help they all need.
