For the first time ever, StyleWeek Providence is opening its doors to the public offering tickets to shows and events August 26-September 3rd (click here for a full schedule). But it all kicks off with one powerful event this Friday evening: The Go Red StyleWeek Challenge benefiting American Heart Association, which raises awareness and funds for the fight against heart disease in women.
The theme of this season’s challenge is “Little Hearts. Big Love.” The runway show features female survivors between the ages of 8 and 13 outfitted in original ensembles custom created by StyleWeek and inspired by the survivors personalities. “It’s been wonderful for our team and all the designers to work with the adult and young survivors,” says Rosanna Ortiz Sinel, founder and president of StyleWeek. “This experience has moved and changed all of us.”
“Little Hearts. Big Love.,” will take place at the Providence Performing Arts Center on Aug. 26 at 5:30 p.m. Tickets range from $40-$150 and can be purchased by clicking here.
