New Vineyard Vines Murrays Hit Shelves While Newport Takes Center Stage with Fall Arrivals

Over the years, Vineyard Vines loyalists have come to love the growing brand (and that irresistible ubiquitous pink whale), and Newporters can take pride in the fall catalog which was inspired by and partially shot here in the City-by-the-Sea (featuring some fabulous local faces–click here for a behind the scenes look!). One of the releases getting a lot of attention is the new rendition of VV’s classic Murray shirt, a versatile classic button down for him. New versions include the Canfield Check Murray shirt, the Beach Stone Gingham Murray, and the D’wolf Murray (pictured left), all 100% cotton and retail at Newport’s Island Outfitters for $145. Other VV shirts with a Newport flair: the Bellevue Check Whale Shirt, the Doris Duke Collegiate Shirt,  the Bouchard Inn Plaid Collegiate Shirt and the aforementioned Canfield Check Taylor Shirt.

For women, new pieces include a host of pieces like skirts and tops with names that might sound familiar: the aptly named striped Portsmouth hoodie, the Thames Street argyle sweater, the Belcourt sweater, and the Beacon Rock tweed cardigan (pictured at top). All of a sudden, welcoming fall doesn’t seem so traumatic…
