Rhode Island is home to some of the best designers and artisans around, and there’s nothing more inspiring about this little state’s young but big talent. Longtime friends turned business partners, Kendra Pariseault and Phillip Sowa, merged their design skills to
launch Kendra Phillip, a line of carefully crafted jewelry using traditional manufacturing techniques and vintage patterns.
Both from the Bonnet Shores area of Narragansett, Kendra Phillip fuses the experience Kendra earned working for David Yurman in New York and the new skills she’s learning while earning her master’s degree in jewelry and metalsmithing in Rhode Island. Meanwhile, Phillip’s family has been in the jewelry manufacturinguring business for generations. Together, the two launched their signature initial pendant (originally designed by Phillip for his sister’s bridal party gifts). Since then, the locally manufactured line has grown to include more necklaces, bracelets and must-have cuffs.
Price points range from $68-98. and the line is currently available locally in Newport at Jason & Co. and Kristina Richards and throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts at these locations. Follow Kendra Phillip on Facebook by clicking here.
