Banana Republic has just unveiled their 2011 Fall Campaign entitled, “The Good Life,” calling it a toast to the rich autumnal season “that illustrates a life well lived.” They sent me some great images fresh off the shoot (under the artful eye of by world-renowned photographer Peter Lindbergh) at Medlock Ames Winery in
Healdsburg, California. As you can see here and on store racks, the collection highlights the simple pleasures of fall- a crisp white shirt, warm camel hues, classic tartan prints and polished and cozy tweeds.
I appreciate how BR stylist Lori Goldstein anchored the looks for this campaign with utilitarian classics; staple pieces that will endure though the season and many of which you may already have a version of in your closet.
A fashionable friend of mine and longtime Banana loyalist and luxe cardholder, sent me this great link to a fabulous spread in Lucky Magazine showcasing a month of head-to-toe looks from 13 Banana pieces, many of which you probably have or have something similar. Mind you, this chic chica plans her looks out a month in advance (me? Forget 30 days, I’m lucky for 30 minutes in advance…) but it’s a resourceful little chart of inspiration. CLICK HERE for the spread. Enjoy!
