It’s another pink post because it’s that time of year! The gals at RaNew Salon have been turning heads by offering pink hair extensions for $12 each with 100% of proceeds benefiting Rhode Island’s own Gloria Gemma Foundation. For long-term hair care, the salon is also offering great deals on all of their pink products in support of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Feather hair extensions have been all the rage for a while now, and the passion for plumage has gone pink at Ki-Ra Salon which is offering pink feather extensions, pink hair extensions and pink tinsel à la Real Housewife Adrienne Maloof. Also,  Aquage  is promoting their “Help Make a Difference” campaign benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure. A portion of your purchase of pink Aquage products at Ki-Ra will be donated (Aquage has pledged a guaranteed minimum donation of $100,000).

And if you’re looking for some pampering for a cause, SpaTerre at the Hotel Viking is offering a special Touch-Transforms Facial throughout October. With every one performed, $5 will be donated to the Look Good Feel Better program, which has helped more than 650,000 women with cancer look good, improve their self-esteem, and manage treatment and recovery with greater confidence. The 50 minute facial works for all skin types and features a citrus-infused warm towel welcome, a Moroccan Rhassoul clay mask, and applications of powerful antioxidants and vitamins. Oh, and there’s a parting gift: a complimentary facial kit including Skin Authority’s popular Daily Cleanser; Tri-Power Peptide Hydrator; moisturizing sunscreen; and olive, fig, shea Butter Body Cream ($59 value). To book the Touch-Transforms facial ($150 plus gratuity), call (401) 848-4848 or
