It’s here. It’s actually been here for a few weeks, but if you’ve been denying the fact that we’re in the throes of autumn up ‘til now, the jig is up. It is downright chilly. It’s time to embrace new colors from head to toe, including for nails. There are some amazing shades and collections being offered through various lines.
ArchBeauty has some beautiful bold hues from butter LONDON, famous for their high fashion, non-toxic nail lacquers with names like All Hail the Queen, Cheeky Chops and Come to Bed Red. Oh, and their Horse Power Nail Fertilizer includes “Horsetail,” a nutrient-rich herb high in silica, which helps to grow and strengthen nails while acting as a glossy clear coat.
Over at The Apothecary, RGB is the nail line of choice and with good reason: it’s chip-resistant, chemical free, cruelty free and made in the USA. It’s a celebrity favorite— Diane Kruger, Zoë Saldana, Lea Michele, Emma Watson, Jessica Alba, Sophia Bush and Michelle Williams have all been seen sporting RGB and Allure magazine just chose RGB as a favorite eco-friendly nail polish line.
At Green Envy Eco-Boutique in Brick Market Place, where owner Rachel’s entire product offering share an environmentally conscious approach, nail care is no different. Karma Organic Nail Polishes and soy-based, biodegradable, odorless Nail Polish Remover are refreshingly safe and the polish has a nice array of shades.
None of the three of these lines contain Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP (it’s all of the fashion without any of the funk!) and retail under $20.
