“They have like, vintage Chanel, Gucci; you know–good stuff!” is all my friend TS had to say to me last week to get my attention. They were talking about Epoch, a new vintage shop located in the front right space at Newport’s Armory Antiques Marketplace (aka “the Armory”) on Thames Street. I paid a visit soon after and found some awesome gems in this small shop including a vintage Diane Von Furstenburg dress, classic Hermes scarf and a vintage Zippo lighter from an America’s Cup race (a little pricy as these lighters are collector’s items). It’s not uncommon to be totally stumped as to what to give to some friends and family for Christmas, and The Armory has some unexpected one-of-a-kind finds. Check it out:
