Art Attack: Egg + Dart

I love creative spaces where you kind of feel like you just want to send for your things and move in. That’s the vibe at Egg + Dart, a new gallery meets home boutique in the heart of downtown Newport on America’s Cup Avenue. The collaborative space by designer Kristen Coates and artist Chris Wyllie is a refreshing addition to the Bowen’s and Bannister’s wharves area, offering original pieces by Wyllie (which I learned you can pay for in installments) and an array of art, gifts, linens, knickknacks and books curated by Coates. I bought an indulgent little treat: Etta + Billie Lavender Body Scrub, a exfoliating and softening  bar that is a blend of sea salt, organic cocoa butter, fair trade shea butter and lavender essential oil ($10).
