Ooh, ooh! Bonjour, Le Cou!

I admit: I thought it quite serendipitous when the founders of Le Cou reached out to me a few months ago. It was the heart of winter and though I’ve always liked a casual but finished look for “casual Fridays” (jeans at the office is always a treat), the look could be bulky and uncomfortable if not executed correctly. The Oxford has to be slim cut and well pressed, the sweater has to to have the perfect neckline and the button down’s arms better be just the right length to cuff over the sweater. Having that fashionable trifecta at the read on a Friday morning would boil down to a stoke of dumb luck. I was reminded of the ubiquitous Peter Pan collar of my grammar school uniform jumper. It seemed so easy back then.
