I’m a summer girl through and through, and though I’m holding on to this majestic season (news flash: Sept. 23 is the last day of summer this year), last week’s visit to Wrentham Village Premium Outlets admittedly got me excited for fall — cozy cowl neck sweaters, blanket scarves, boots and more.
I started at Saks 5th Avenue OFF 5TH, where two trends were apparent: party ready dresses, artful heels and chandelier earrings. I scored a pair of Kate Spade leopard print block heels that were originally $248, marked down to $119, on sale for $89 and final sale cost: $74.90 (see left). I also scored a Karl Lagerfeld dress for fall (that’s very Chanel — no surprise since he was the creative director there for so long) that was $138 for $66. (And because every girl likes an accessory, a pair of boho chandelier earrings for just $7.)
LOFT has so many great fall trends at the ready. I’ve been coveting an olive green military top/jacket with drawstring waist
and I scored one here that was originally $99 for just $54. Other steals: a gray chunky sweater for $29 (originally $55) and frayed cuff jeans for $53 (originally $80).
No stop to Wrentham is complete for me without a stop at J. Crew Factory and this trip, EVERYTHING there was 50% off! Camo print is such a big trend this fall and here I found a perfect crew neck light camo sweater for $26 (the VIP coupon offered an additional 10% any purchase of $100!). Even though I’m hoping to not need it for a while, I fell for this stunning wool trench-inspired coat in lavender — originally $198, mine for $89. 
And more animal print! A leopard print, ruffle neck, peasant dress that my friend convinced me to try on came home with me for $44 (instead of $98 – the original price). The stylist there suggested adding a thin camo belt with it as mixed patterns, he said, are the way to go this fall. For my little one, I scored a precious unicorn top from CrewCuts for $15 and a matching unicorn glitter headband for $7! (I’ve already worn the headband and it’s fabulous.)
