Here’s what you should know: It’s still the CH lawn we all know and love. The traditional first-come, first-served Adirondack chairs that are open to the public are all still there ready and waiting! Nothing has changed on that front. But the addition of the reserve pods of chairs, designed for groups of up to 12, offers the opportunity to reserve a private space — because anyone whose rolling up to Castle Hill on a gorgeous summer Saturday hoping there might be 12 free Adirondacks in a group just sitting idle has a level of optimism (read: delusion) that should be bottled and sold.
Guests who book the experience can also pre-order food and beverage selections from
the “add-on” menu when making their reservation. Champagne and wines by the bottle, local beers, lobster rolls, caviar service, those incredible Castle Hill chocolate chip cookies and other snacks are all available.

When we went to expense it all recently, e enjoyed a stunning New England cheese board, shrimp cocktail, house-made guacamole and chips, and delightful mini lobster rolls topped with crispy onion straws (which honestly is a lobster roll game changer). And the CH cookies, which go without saying. (Pssst: here’s the recipe for those famous cookies!)
