Welcome to Newport Stylephile, lifestyle blog that celebrates the Newport way of life.
Newport is more than just one of the most storied cities in the world; it’s a state of mind. It’s crisp white pants paired with a French boat neck top boasting navy nautical stripes. It’s sipping a Dark n’ Stormy on a hot summer day overlooking the sea. It’s embracing the salt water spray cooling you during an afternoon sail spent perched on the bow and asking, ‘Is there anywhere else in the world I’d rather be?’ (The answer, of course, is no.)
There’s a reason why Newport’s inspired style has been featured in publications and on programs around the world (because that literally used to be my job as the PR person for the destination!), but Newport is more than just canvas totes, anchor embellishments and boat shoes, and that’s the dish I’m here to share. Enjoy the blog, which has been featured in Conde Nast Traveler on Rhode Island Monthly’s RI Daily and more, and post your comments to let me know what treasures you uncover in the City-by-the-Sea!

Hey Stylephile,
I am opening a new store in April on Bellevue Avenue called The Sea Star Collection. Check me out on Facebook and let me know if you would like to get together to talk about it. The store will feature coastal home furnishings, gifts and jewelry with “high seas style”. The website has a very small representation of what I will carry. I am very excited about it!!! Pam
I’d love to chat about your new store! How about next week? I’ll shoot you an email, and thanks for reaching out!
